Via Medica International Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team in the Industrial Medicine setting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Licensed Nurse in Home Country
- Valid BLS certificate
- Immediate joiners preferred
- Must be willing to relocate to the Western Region of Abu Dhabi
- Assists in conducting pre-employment physicals, drug and alcohol screenings, vision and hearing tests, and other physical assessments required for specific job roles
- Take and record vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist physicians or registered nurses in treating work-related injuries, such as minor cuts, sprains, or burns
- Maintaining and updating confidential electronic health records (EHRs) for employees
- Documenting medical histories, exam results, and injury reports in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assists in the documentation and reporting required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
- Schedule appointments for employees with doctors, specialists, or for follow-up care
- Handle communication with employees, management, and other departments regarding health and safety protocols
- Manage the inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that the occupational health clinic is well-stocked and all instruments are properly sterilized and maintained
- 60 hours per week
- 1 or 2 days off (depending on operational needs)
- AED 3,500/month
- 2-year employment visa
