Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Executive

Job Location: Abu Dhabi

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Development, implementation of KEZAD backlot specific HSE plan, policies, and procedures in line with OSHMS and OSHAD-SF/ADOHC. This include, but not limited to, Site-specific Emergency Management Plan as per UAE
  • Fire and Life Safety Code (Latest Edition and associated documents and records in line with the OSHAD-SF audit guidelines and the site requirements.
  • Ensure that all risks have been identified, suitably controlled and the Detailed Risk Assessments, Task- Specific Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, Risk Registers and Risk Assessment Action Plan are developed, implemented and revised regularly as needed.
  • Ensure that applicable level of OSH documentations are provided and all records maintained.
  • Ensure Regular emergency drills are conducted, lessons learned captured and improvement made.
  • Ensure the adverse weather conditions and the remoteness of the site are managed to keep the risks as low as reasonably possible.
  • Ensure that the agreed/developed safe working practices are developed and required trainings and toolbox talks to all staff are provided.
  • All the activities related to the site operations are closely inspected, audited and monitored ensuring all the required controls are applied appropriately. Ensure corrective actions are implemented for any audit findings.
  • Coordinate with the other OSHE resources deployed in KEZAD backlot providing with the adequate level of technical expertise to fulfill their job roles
  • Advise and production staff, as and when required to highlight the health, safety and environmental concerns and aspects that require immediate attention in the site
  • Ensuring all the health, safety and environmental issues, including the preventative measures as applicable by the Local Authorities are applied at the site level
  • Ensure reporting system in place and send status reports.
  • Ensure competency assessments of all the activities/job positions are undertaken and recommendations provided as an Action Plan
  • Attend various types of audits and ensure the site specific documents and records as required to be provided as evidence to the OSHAD/ADPHC audit are to be readily available at any point of time.
