We’re hiring a GTM & Market Ops Lead to drive our expansion across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Your mission: open new markets from scratch and win high-value client work. You'll identify high-leverage sectors, lead discovery and pitch conversations, and craft custom proposals that convert. The goal is simple—secure agency-style contracts where clients engage us to build software, design, or AI solutions.
This is a frontline role focused on growth, dealflow, and client acquisition. You're not here to manage accounts—you’re here to open doors, win mandates, and help us plant our flag in the region.
Who You Are
- A self-directed, commercially minded operator with strong GCC market awareness
- You have a bias for action, thrive in ambiguity, and know how to work directly with founders to shape and close deals
- Proven track record building business pipelines and converting early clients, especially in unbranded or founder-led environments
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in B2B sales, BD, or market expansion roles in the Middle East, ideally the UAE or KSA
- Experience selling software, product, design, or AI services
- Strong communication and research skills—able to distill local market signals into actionable insights
- Comfortable working independently, with speed and accountability
- Bonus: Prior experience in a tech agency, venture-backed startup, or consulting firm in the region
What You’ll Own
- Market Mapping: Identify priority sectors (e.g. finance, logistics, government innovation, retail) and decision-makers across the GCC
- Entry Strategy: Uncover pain points, map buyer psychology, and inform positioning for agency-style engagements
- Discovery: Lead conversations with senior stakeholders to validate demand and shape a refined offering
- Proposal Creation: Work with founders to develop pricing, scope, and pitch collateral tailored to the region
- BD Execution: Win 3–5 client contracts to validate delivery, build trust, and open long-term pipeline
What Success Looks Like
Week 0–2
- Learn our positioning, delivery model, and current use cases
- Research GCC verticals: UAE, KSA, Qatar
- Identify 3–5 high-potential buyer types (e.g. Heads of Digital, Innovation, or Ops)
- Begin discovery outreach
Week 2–4
- Run 10+ discovery conversations
- Extract key buyer insights: procurement patterns, pricing tolerance, blockers
- Define 2–3 clear GTM paths and test outbound strategy
- Build proposal scaffolding and qualify early leads
Month 1–3
- Deliver 3–5 live proposals
- Close 1–3 pilot contracts to establish traction
- Build internal playbooks for pitch → close flow
- Identify long-term growth levers: channel partners, events, community, or referrals
Location & Time Zone
- Must be based in Dubai or elsewhere in the GCC, with ability to travel for meetings
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Able to work async with founders across US, EU, and Asia
Compensation
- Competitive base + equity
- Contract-to-hire or full-time depending on fit
- Performance-based upside tied to expansion success and ownership
