Job Brief:

Our client in the equipment trading industry is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join their finance team in Dubai. This role is a hybrid of accounting and data analysis, requiring a strong command of financial reporting, budgeting, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting decision-making through accurate financial data, reporting insights, and process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Develop dashboards and performance reports using Excel or ERP tools.
• Assist with audits, compliance checks, and statutory financial reporting.
• Extract, clean, and interpret large data sets to support business analytics.
• Automate and enhance accounting and reporting processes.
• Align financial analysis with business strategy in collaboration with management.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial and operational data.
• Track budgets and perform variance analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in line with company policies.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline data collection and improve reporting accuracy.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in accounting and/or data analysis roles.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting is mandatory.
• Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or similar systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently and meet deadlines.
