Top Technical Requirements:

• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to select and procure lab equipment and necessary supplies.
• Support the engineering team in prototyping and testing developed systems.
• Efficiently manage, update, and maintain an inventory of commonly used parts, components, and consumables for both ongoing projects and daily electrical prototyping.
• Provide technical expertise to support research and development activities.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment acquisition and necessary service requirements.
• Facilitate training for other engineers and technicians in the proper usage of lab equipment and adherence to established procedures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive lab policies and procedures to prioritize safety and enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of prototypes to ensure they meet operational and performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Operate electrical engineering and laboratory equipment.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers and technicians involved in test equipment design and development
• Utilize your experience to design innovative and efficient test systems, integrating the latest technologies
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project parameters
• Identify opportunities for improving test equipment performance, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to electronic equipment
  
  

Knowledge/Qualification & Experience

• Minimum 15 years relevant experience working in the development-engineering environment.
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or Software Engineering.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to completion.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding and mentoring engineering teams.
• Test Equipment Design and Development.
• Ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC standards for military and defense applications
• LabVIEW, TestStand, C and C++ coding, HIL, Python.
• Sensors and instrumentation.
