The Opportunity

Presight is looking for a Senior Specialist – Data Analysis to join on Fulltime basis.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports.
• Search for solutions; locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Collaborate and work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• You are resilient, you know how to deal with ambiguity.
• Work with I/T and data owners to understand the types of data collected in various databases and data warehouses.
• Collaborate in a multicultural and diverse environment that expands to include various geographic locations and spans numerous cultures.
• Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-8yrs proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-driven, motivated and results-oriented, customer-centric mindset;
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field.
• Technical expertise in big data modeling, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
• Proven experience in data analysis, with a strong understanding of statistical methods and data visualization.
• Experience with SQL, Spark/Hive SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis tools is required.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. ELK is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
• Proficiency in any cloud technology is recommended.
• Open and flexible to travel to customer locations as needed.
