Social Media & PR Manager (m/f/d)

Our Client:

Our client a tech start up are seeking a Social Media and PR Manager to join their team in Dubai.

Your Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute a strategic social media calendar aligned with company milestones, product launches, and market events.
• Manage content creation across platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) to drive engagement, awareness, and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to develop compelling visuals, videos, and animations.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics and insights.
  
  

Public Relations & Media Relations

• Craft press releases, media kits, and feature stories for local, regional, and international tech publications.
• Build and maintain relationships with tech, startup, and business media outlets, especially in the UAE and GCC.
• Proactively pitch stories to elevate our client's profile, executives, and technology.
• Organize and manage media briefings, interviews, product launches, and PR events.
  
  

Brand Storytelling & Content Leadership

• Shape our client's brand tone and voice to reflect innovation, ambition, and local relevance.
• Write thought leadership articles, founder stories, and product narratives that resonate with enterprise IT buyers and public sector leaders.
• Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, awards, and partnerships to amplify our presence.
  
  

Community Engagement & Reputation Management

• Develop engagement strategies for tech communities, universities, and public innovation initiatives in the UAE.
• Manage crisis communication and respond swiftly to any reputational issues online.
  
  

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in social media management, public relations, or digital marketing.
• Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to craft compelling content and press releases.
• Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
• Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, and influencer outreach.
• Ability to manage media relations and build relationships with journalists and influencers.
• Creative mindset with a strong eye for design and storytelling.
• Comfortable working independently and wearing multiple hats.
• Graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience with crisis communication or reputation management.
• Knowledge of paid social media advertising and campaign management.
• Arabic language is mandatory
