About The Role
As a Specialist, IT Networks & Telecommunications, you will be mainly responsible for maintaining the IT Infrastructure of Atlantis in operational condition to satisfy business requirements. Additional responsibilities include coordinating all activities within the IT support team and maintaining network systems configuration based on required Security and Networking standards to fulfill business needs. You will handle configuration, maintenance, and support of all IT Network infrastructure equipment, including:
Switches: Experience in configuring Switches, including access and trunk ports, VLANs, VLAN Interfaces, L2 security and access-list, is a must. Experience with Cisco and HP switches is required.
Routers: Experience in configuration of Routed interfaces, IP routes, Multicast, port forwarding, OSFP knowledge and troubleshooting is required. Experience with Cisco Routers is desired. Wireless Access points: Experience with SSID and WLAN configuration, CAPWAP, Adding/tracking/removing APs to the WLC is required. Experience with Cisco APs and Wi-Fi Infrastructure is required.
Firewalls: Clear understanding of Firewalls principles, modes of operation, rule-based IP/Protocol/Application filtering and Experience with Cisco and Paloalto Firewalls is desired. Structured Cabling: Basic crimping termination of Cat6 and RJ11 cables is required.
About You
Ideally, we’d like you to have a Bachelor of Computer Science or similar. You will be Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and have 2 years' experience in this field. You will have great communication skills and be able to communicate well with stakeholders across the hotel and be able to work in a fast paced environment.

- Bachelor of Computer Science or similar as minimum, mandatory qualification.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) with strong experience is a must. The candidate will be tested on practical scenarios common to the position.
- Further Certifications on Routing & Switching, Wireless, Firewalls and Security are desired.
- Background in the hospitality industry in UAE is preferred.
